Paris is known as the “City of Light” which rings true in Parisian home design. 1. Let the sun shine in

If a room allows for brilliant natural light, keep those windows unobstructed. Don’t block out light with long or heavy curtains.

2. Use white as a color

Though white can be overlooked as its own color, choosing white as the signature color for a room can actually create a beautiful and bold design.

3. Create contrast with iron

Paris is known for its iron balconies, window decorations, doors, gates and fences. On windows, the iron creates a natural contrast to the sun light and white decor.

4. Add a pop of color with flowers

Plant flowers in window boxes to give a splash of color to a mostly black and white design. Fresh flowers in a vase works as well.
